VEGAN AND GLUTEN-FREE CHOCOLATE COOKIES
Do you remember that feeling when you were a child and waited in front of the oven for the delicacies in the oven to finally be ready? Do you still do that today? I plead guilty! When I prepared these cookies, I was so excited that I literally waited 15min in front of the oven for them to finally be ready (and hopefully be tasty).
Can you believe that I never ever prepared chocolate cookies at home before? It took me max. 20min to prepare them (and probably 2 seconds to eat the first one) and as they are quite “healthy” (no sugar, no gluten!) I enjoyed 3 right when they came out of the oven. I mean they are the best when they are still warm right?
I guess you notice when you look at the recipe that it is only meant for 5 cookies. Maybe you think now 5 cookies? Is she insane that’s not enough! And you are right! I wanted to trick myself in not preparing too many as I would eat half of them (I still share them of course) right away. But guess what happened? They were gone already after 10 minutes and I prepare new ones the next day 😂
RECIPE FOR VEGAN CHOCOLATE COOKIES (APPROX. 5 COOKIES)
1 banana
4 tablespoon oats
3 tablespoon oat milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
4 tablespoon cacao
3 tablespoon maple syrup (if you like your cookies sweeter add more)
Pinch of salt
Preheat the oven (200° fan setting)
Mix the chia seeds and oat milk so that they can soak up the milk (max. 5 min)
Add all the other ingredients
Place the dough on the baking paper
Let the cookies bake for around 15 min
When they are ready let them cool out for 10 min (I know its hard!!)
Enjoy!
