SPECIALITY COFFEE & CAFE GUIDE IN KINTAMANI, BALI
Have you ever heard about the specialty coffee scene in the highlands of Kintamani? If not, you need to add it on your Bali itinerary. Known for its amazing coffee & cafe scene and stunning views of Mount Batur, Kintamani is the perfect destination for coffee lovers looking to explore beyond the usual tourist spots in Bali.
Only around 1.5h away from Canggu and 50min from Ubud, you can reach some of the best cafes of the island serving speciality coffee which you won’t find anywhere else. From sipping on freshly roasted beans with panoramic mountain views, ideally for sunrise over Mount Batur, to enjoying unique coffee blends infused with local flavors, there are endless options for coffee lover & I’m happy to share my favorite spots & hidden gems in my Kintamani coffee guide.
Another tip: I’ll recommend to stay one night in Kintamani so you can enjoy the stunning sunrise over Mount Batur. I love to take a stop for lunch in Ubud and then head up north. Also make sure to pack warmer clothes as it can get chilly in the highlands of Kintamani (we’re at around 1.500m after all!) especially at night and in the early morning hours.
